One of the advantages of living in a market town is that you find lots of independent shops and cafes. And Blandford is no exception. I think there are 15 cafes and teashops in the town centre and my favourite is near the top of Salisbury St.
It's worth the short stroll up the hill after a bit of retail therapy where you can put your feet up in the lovely Forum Café. The best service in the world comes courtesy of Terry who will look after you with a cappuccino and perhaps some lovely lemon drizzle cake. There are plenty of other treats to tempt you all tasting so much better from an independent emporium than a chain.
that lemon drizzle cake DEFINITELY has my vote!
